Slovenia to Modernize Cannabis Policy by End of 2024
Slovenia is set to overhaul its cannabis policy, with lawmakers expected to introduce significant reforms by the end of 2024. Dr. Metka Paragi, Slovenia’s Secretary for Health, made this announcement during the International Cannabis Business Conference held in Bled on September 13, 2024.

Referendums Supporting Cannabis Legalization
This policy modernization follows two referendum results earlier this year, with a majority of Slovenian voters approving the decriminalization of adult personal use and supporting medical cannabis.
