Formula Swiss AG of Switzerland has acquired a 50% stake in Romanian Zona Verde SRL.
Zona Verde started in 2009 as the very first grow shop in Romania focusing on hydroponic equipment. Then in 2015, the company expanded the scope of the business to include cannabis seeds.
Now Zona Verde is the most popular cannabis retailer in Romania, offering more than 1000 different CBD and hemp products of all types, including tinctures, seeds, vape, smokeable products etc.
The extensive product selection will continue to expand with the partnership with Formula Swiss.
Formula Swiss, founded in Switzerland in 2013, produces certified organic and vegan CBD products in Switzerland for customers in more than 60 countries and medical cannabis since 2019 for thousands of patients in Brazil. The company has companies in Switzerland, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Romania.
