At our company, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment.
As a large producer of products from cannabis and industrial hemp, we are constantly striving to be CO2-neutral. We use a large amount of renewable energy from water and solar, cultivate following organic principles without artificial fertilisers, use highly effective LEDs over HPS lamps, and use packaging made from wood-based materials, paper from recycled paper etc.
In addition, we aim to become CO2-negative. This would mean removing more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than we emit, making a positive contribution to the fight against climate change.
Highest Standard of Certifications and Accreditations
Here at our company, we pride ourselves on working towards high standards of certification and accreditation. We have been documenting and improving our production processes in line with GMP and ISO 22716 since 2018; our formal implementation of the ISO 22716 standard began in 2019, was completed in January 2020 and is notarised in Zug, Switzerland. At the time of writing, we were also working towards ISO 9001:2015. Additionally, our organic skincare products are certified under COSMOS ORGANIC, and we hold Vegan Trademark registration with The Vegan Society.
Anyone can claim that their products are organic or vegan, but unfortunately, some choose to do so without any certification or accreditation.
We believe that our customers deserve the best of the best, which is why we go the extra mile to ensure that our products meet the highest standards. When you choose our company, you can rest assured knowing that you're getting the best possible product.
We are very proud of our achievements to date. It takes time, patience, manpower and requires substantial financial investment in product development, quality improvement, and certifications via external consultants.
However, we can do better and should do anything possible to reduce our footprint on the planet to minimise climate change and the negative impacts on the fragile ecosystem. For example, we could use more recycled materials in our products, source energy from renewable sources, or offset our carbon emissions.
We believe that it is our responsibility to minimise our impact on the environment, and we are committed to doing so. In fact, we have already made significant progress in recent years, thanks in part to the efforts of our employees. We will continue to work hard to reduce our environmental impact and be a force for good in the world.

We originally set a goal of implementing sustainable product labels and packaging for all of our products by the end of 2021. This means switching to eco-friendly materials for our labels and packaging, and ensuring that all of our products follow our GMP quality procedures.

Sustainable Product Labels
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we will be redesigning all product labels to be printed on eco-friendly materials.
In addition, we will be increasing the use of local language variations on our labels, to better serve our customers around the world. This includes Spanish, Portuguese and Norwegian. All labels will also follow our GMP quality procedures.
This redesign is part of our larger commitment to sustainability and to providing our customers with the best possible products.
Sustainable Packaging
We will be redesigning and reprinting all product packaging and inserts for all products using wood-based materials only.
This will enable us to reduce our use of paper and plastic, and is intended to support our internal goal of reducing our environmental impact by 50% by 2025.
We will be working with our suppliers to ensure that the new packaging is made from recycled materials, and that it can be easily recycled or reused.

Sustainable Product Containers
It's time to say goodbye to those pesky plastic containers and make the switch to glass or aluminium.
Not only is it more aesthetically pleasing, but it's also better for the environment. Here at our company, we are committed to following the organic COSMOS standard. COSMOS does not require glass or aluminium, but it prohibits certain plastics such as PVC and polystyrene in packaging, and we are choosing glass or aluminium containers instead of plastic.
Many conventional plastics persist in the environment for a long time and break down into microplastics, while glass and aluminium can be recycled over and over again. Making the switch to eco-friendly packaging is just one small way that we can help make a big difference for the planet. Plus, our customers can feel good knowing that they are supporting a sustainable business.
So let's make the switch and start making a positive impact on the environment.
Sustainable Product Protection
In an effort to be more sustainable, we have decided to stop using plastic lids for our containers. Instead, we will be using glass or aluminium covers that can be reused.
We will also be using shrink-plastic protective sleeves for our products. These sleeves will be made from biodegradable material, which is intended to reduce their impact, although biodegradable plastics only break down fully under suitable conditions and still need to be disposed of correctly.
We hope that these changes will help to reduce the amount of plastic waste that is produced each year.
